ADVANTAGES |
Wide range of needle-thread combinations. Available with black needle combinations. Braided thread structure has central core covered by several small compact braids of polyester filaments. Reliable knotting / needle attachment. Good handling. Pledgets mechanically reinforce fragile tissue/prostheses, preventing them from being torn or cut by the suture in C/Vascular surgery (e.g. valve replacement, cardiac injuries, ventricular septal defects) with a non-absorbable suture. Pledgets exclusively polytetrafluoroethilene (PTFE), non-degradable/strain-resistant. Available for C/Pract options - for adaptation (soft/firm, oval/rectangular and pre-pierced/blind). |
