Biomedical Support
Our team will support you in keeping your infusion pumps running so that treatment is not interrupted. We work with B. Braun under a fleet management model where we operate a local exchange pool of infusion pumps. This model ensures your pump fleet will have minimum down time. We take care of your infusion pumps so that you can focus on continuous patient care.

Biomedical ServiceUnscheduled Repairs When your infusion pumps are out of order please give us a call or send us an email. Minor repairs will be attended to immediately and the pump will be returned to your Biomedical officer for certification and redeployment. Pumps which require major repairs will be taken back to base. You will be given a replacement pump from our pool in such instance ensuring you face no disruption to crucial equipment resources.
Scheduled Preventative Maintenance B. Braun Infusion Pumps need scheduled Preventative Maintenance (TSC and calibration) once every two years. We will arrange with your Biomedical officers to conduct the PM at your site. We will ensure your work schedule is not disrupted.

Warehousing And DistributionB. Braun has partnered with Western Medical Supplies (WestMed), a Bibra Lake based medical distribution company, to provide warehousing and distribution services. All deliveries shall be made as per the contractual obligations. WestMed is partnering will Border Express for regional deliveries. Metro deliveries are mostly carried out by WestMed logistics personnel. We can therefore ensure a very fast turnaround. In order to provide a seamless service to our customers WestMed is using the same SAP ERP system as B. Braun which supports eCommerce and electronic data transfer. Urgent same day and weekend deliveries are available through special arrangements. We have ample stock of consumables in our warehouse at Bibra Lake. This allows us to deliver products within 24 hours in the metro area and also take care of urgent needs regional sites may have. |
